Its early Saturday morning. I sit in the midst of this large city half way down the slope from the mountains to the coast. We await a winter storm that is getting much press. The lame duck Bush holds the highest office in the land and as I surf the net signs of life are beginning to surface among the thinking members of our war weary yet eager and hopeful sangha.

Good morning my friends, 1/27/2005 ----> 17/8 (communion, splendour)
At home, in my new digs. Cleaned and straightened last night, thoughts of nesting and rooting freaking me out. Dressed up a notch (a secret Shiva undershirt) and set out for the Whole Foods party. Drove around a bit and did not locate the party...forgot the name of the bar(?) or restaurant or whatever it is... c'est le vie'... and Joni Mitchell sang "last chance lost" to trip me... man! 3d is a tar baby. I wrote this on the back of a flyer hawking my last workshop and over flowed onto the back of a Bob the builder coloring sheet that Ananda would enjoy coloring.

So, my trusty laptop monitor went plaid a couple of weeks ago and I've been offline, hence no posts. I must locate an internal cable to fix it and meanwhile I am working on a desktop monitor connected to my notebook.
I'm indoors for this cold spell having taken rooms in Winston across the street from Hanes park and the YMCA. Thank you Lori Beth.
The Merkaba workshop went well. We were 7 gathered high atop the Hawthorne Inn overlooking downtown as M and X class flares revised our fields. On Sunday afternoon 5 new "merkabites" strode forth. I am pleased. Thank you for attending my good friends. Indeed you honor these teachings with your attention. Special thanks to Paula for her anchoring wisdom.
Eden's new post is up...a bit tardy due to the abovementioned complications... Resonant Moon of Attunement.
I will go now and workout as I have some time before work today and early works for me.

Good morning my friends, 1/06/2005 ---->14/5 (sever-ity)
I've been sitting here writing out a to do list for the upcoming Merkaba workshop. I am not calm. There appears to be an electric sort of tension running around in this passage. I think that I will go to the gym and work out soon. A good workout is quite centering. I like to run though I am continually reluctant. When I finally coax, cajole, and guilt trip myself into my running clothes I am fine. I remember the joy and pleasure of cellular awareness as I focus on my breath, my body, and my sense of empowering self investment.
